The Sweet Rose of Sharon women's ministry met Saturday, November 8th 2014 for a "Tea and Talk". There was a lovely tea service and delicious refreshments, in addition to lively fellowship. This was an empowering session facilitated by our First Lady, Minister Brenda Dobson-Crawford.  The "Tea and Talk" featured interactive discussions about the important issues of Christian women, a highlight on the life of being a prayer warrior, and open forum conversation. 

Example topic:  "Make-Up"
What is the purpose of make-up? We must deal with the issues under the make-up. What you think about yourself affects what you do, and how you feel about yourself. We must make up with our messed up past. We must forgive ourselves and move forward in faith! We must remind ourselves of the power, authority, and gifts God has given us! And we must hold fast to it! If our thinking changes, it will override the flesh (source: II Tim 1:6-14).
